Licensed Clinical Social Worker
At the heart of Roots & Resilience is a deep commitment to healing, compassion, and meaningful connection.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with three degrees in social work, along with minors in mental health, leadership, and management of human services. My professional journey has been grounded in supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most vulnerable moments, with a special passion for working within geriatric populations. I believe there is profound wisdom, dignity, and value in every stage of life, and I am deeply committed to honoring and advocating for older adults with care that is both compassionate and person-centered.
I've walked alongside individuals and families as they navigate loss, transition, and the complexities of end-of-life care. However, experiencing my own personal loss has transformed not only how I support others but how I understand grief itself.
Through this journey, I am learning to extend myself the same compassion and patience I so freely give to others. I have come to understand that healing is not about “getting over” loss, but about learning to live, grow, and move forward while carrying it with us.
This lived experience, combined with my professional training, shapes the foundation of Roots & Resilience. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, empathy, and authenticity creating spaces where individuals and organizations feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I believe that even in life’s most difficult moments, resilience can be cultivated, and healing can take root.
